INSTITUTIONAL FORMAT OF FINANCIAL INFRASTRUCTURE OF UKRAINE: PROSPECTS AND THREATS OF POST-CRISIS DEVELOPMENT

Abstract


Purpose – analysis of the possibilities of post-crisis development of the financial infrastructure in Ukraine, developing of recommendations aimed at restoring of the potential of financial intermediary in the medium term.
Design/methodology – system approach, comparative analysis and classification.
Findings – the necessity of developing and implementation of fundamentally new approaches to the development of financial infrastructure institutions, in the bsis of which - increasing of competition, transparency, and deregulation.

Research limitations – information asymmetry in the activity of financial institutions, low transparency of state agencies, volatility of the macrofinance environment in Ukraine.
Practical implications – the ability to adapt developed recommendations to the activities of financial institutions, financial regulation and supervision agencies in Ukraine.
Originality/value – the necessity of transformation of existing approaches to the development of financial infrastructure in Ukraine is substantiated.
